Events & Workshops

Events and Workshops are spaces of learning, reflection, and transformation — moving beyond information-sharing into lived, experiential engagement. Offerings include live workshops and community events, professional trainings for clinicians and organizations, fee-per-view and recorded trainings, special events aligned with community needs, and Professional Ethics Dialogues.

Nepantla Model Workshops center relational healing through plática, trauma-informed modalities (Brainspotting, Jungian SandPlay, Internal Family Systems), and expanded states of awareness with ethical integration practices. Key themes include intergenerational trauma and resilience, cultural identity and mental health, and liberation-oriented approaches to care.

Healing Circles

Healing Circles are communal spaces of presence, witnessing, and transformation — relational containers where healing is understood as collective, embodied, and shaped by history, culture, and spirit. No one heals in isolation; what is carried in the body, in memory, and across generations is met here through shared presence and culturally grounded practice.
Affinity-based circles may be offered — for example, for women, for Black and Brown women, for White men engaging in accountability, or for professional helpers — creating conditions where participants can speak more freely and be more fully witnessed. Circles are offered in English, Spanish, and Spanglish, for those navigating transitions, grief, identity shifts, intergenerational or cultural wounds, or seeking community-based healing beyond individual therapy. No prior experience is required — only a willingness to be in relationship with self and others.
